  • Breaking the silence

    Life has been such a rocky ride for the past few months... Sometimes it is hard to even find the words to think, much less even type into a decent Xanga post.

    But Bible Class has begun again.

    This year, I have a smaller class with a wider age range, but so many things are still the same.

    Quiet Child smiles at me...
    Drama Child started crying in class...
    Intelligent Child remembered all the songs from last week.
    Talkative Child JUST HAD TO TELL ME ABOUT SOMETHING IMPORTANT.

    I confess to missing my darling Italian Child... But I think that the All-American Boy will fill the void quite well.

    He was making a peace sign out of Perler Beads.
    Little Girl: "Oh -- You're making a peace sign?"
    All-American Boy: (lost in deep concentration) "NO. It's a SWORD in a CIRCLE."
